Nigel Whyte
Commercial Director
Nigel joined us in July 2016 as Commercial Director. Previously Nigel held senior commerical roles in Bank of Ireland and ACC, having graduated with a degree in agricultural science from UCD in 1996.
Before embarking on his commerical careeer Nigel spent five years with Teagasc.
Tim O’Donovan
Technical Director
Tim joined in August 2016 as Technical Director coming from Teagasc as a leading arable expert. Amongst other qualifications, Tim holds a Masters in Agricultural Science from UCD and is currently undertaking a Research PhD.
Tim leads up our wholesale technical teams, bringing a wealth of in-depth arable expertise and passion for agriculture to the role.
Mia O Loughlin
Group Head of Marketing
As Group Head of Marketing, Mia brings a strategic perspective to the company's’ marketing strategy. She has previously worked in senior commercial roles with some of Ireland's top consumer brands delivering transformative marketing strategies across B2C and B2B audiences, including brand positioning, innovation and integrated marketing campaigns. Mia brings with her a market-driven approach to deliver profitable growth for the Arvum Group of companies.
Daniel Norris
Production Manager
Dan is responsible for the seed production of wheat, barley, oats, and beans. He is based in Belview. He is looking forward to the challenges ahead as Seedtech production manager.
Denis Dunne
Seed Trials Manager
Denis has been part of the Seedtech production team since 2018 and moved to trials manager in 2020. His work includes the trialing of numerous new crops from breeders throughout the EU and eventually deciding on whether a crop has the attributes to become a successful commercial crop in Ireland. Denis is a graduate of UCD's Agriculture & Science division, with a degree in Animal and crop production.
Tony Byrne
Logistics Manager
A native of Waterford, Tony joined the company in 1977 and is now Logistics Manager.
Denise Stuart
Credit Controller
Denise joined the group in 2007 as Credit Controller. Her background is in Banking and Accounts Administration.
Elaine O’Brien
Office Administrator
Elaine joined Seed Technology in February 2011. A native of Waterford, Elaine’s background is in administration, customer service and key account management.
David Whyte
Financial Accountant
David joined Seed Technology Ltd. in March 2010 as Financial Accountant. Having studied accounting at Waterford Institute of Technology for three years David qualified as a certified accountant in 1999. Since 2000 David spent 10 years in Sydney working with large multinationals in various financial accounting roles.
